Within the Grand Site Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, at Le Pont du Diable's beach, the river flows out from deep, steep-sided gorges cut into the limestone rock, opening out onto the plain where it becomes a long, calm river. Two trails are offered: Exploring the gorges with its "marmites de géants" (potholes) and the "Parcours des hérons" (herons' trail) with its tranquil banks lined with tall trees and intimate little beaches.
Activity open to everyone; family-friendly and fun.
New in 2015: paddleboarding to explore the calm river downstream from the bridge.
