JOURNÉE ŒNOLOGIE : CÉPAGES ET ARÔMES, RECONNAÎTRE LES VINS

Vignobles et Découvertes

Learn to recognize French grape varieties and fine wines through a guided tasting led by an oenologist!

The Ludivinum Wine School offers a day-long wine-tasting experience dedicated to discovering grape varieties, their aromas, and their flavor profiles. An innovative approach and hands-on exercises will help you learn to identify wines and associate them with France’s major wine regions: Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, the Loire, Alsace, and Languedoc-Roussillon.

Two separate workshops are offered:
> From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: white wines. Discover the grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Chenin, Viognier, and Gewürztraminer, along with their distinctive aromas and flavors. Tasting of 6 wines
> From 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: red wines. Learn to distinguish the profiles of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, and Pinot Noir. Tasting of 6 wines.

You can participate in just the morning session, just the afternoon session, or the full day, tasting up to 12 wines.

The session is led by Bernard Bruzac, an agricultural engineer specializing in viticulture and oenology and holder of the National Diploma in Oenology. A friendly and educational experience, open to wine enthusiasts who wish to deepen their knowledge of wine.
