ÉCHAPPÉES... DE PETITS TRAITS, DE JAG ET PAUL COUDSI

This exhibition brings together the worlds of two artists with unique approaches.

Paul Coudsi favors a spontaneous graphic style, composed of small ink strokes thrown onto the paper, without any preconceived idea. His drawings capture vivid, suspended moments, as if they had escaped the burdens of existence and the passage of time.

For his part, Jag creates works from coffee stains applied randomly onto watercolor paper. As they dry, unexpected shapes and nuances emerge, rich in meaning. The artist then interprets them and brings them to life through texts that are by turns poetic, humorous, philosophical, or sometimes mischievous.

Opening reception with the artists in attendance on Thursday, October 8, at 6 p.m.
